Hi there! I’m Megan.
This is where I should dazzle you with my credentials and accomplishments to convince you to come have music lessons with me. I do, in fact, have a Bachelor of Music degree in Performance on the classical saxophone from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I also stuck around for a few years to teach ear training/sight singing and music theory to undergraduate students once I finished my own degree, and have spent the last few years teaching students 1:1 and in small groups.
But that’s not important right now.
What’s important is that I love music. I love everything about it. I love pulling it apart and examining it and working things out so that I understand it from the inside out. I love that it can find you with exactly the right tune at exactly the right moment to help you make sense of life. I cannot stand musical snobbery in any form and just want everyone to find their own groove – no judgement; no dramas; no stress. If you want to learn something that I’m a little hazy about, BRING IT ON! We can learn together.
Music is a verb: it’s an action, not an object.
Let me help you make some of your own.
